Empowering voices, building movements

Welcome to Red Rose Trans Movement. We are dedicated to uplifting LGBTQ+ leaders and advocating for an abolitionist future. Discover our commitment to justice, equity, and liberation for all.

Our vision for justice

At Red Rose Trans Movement, we stand for a world where LGBTQ+ individuals, especially those of color, are celebrated as leaders and free from systemic oppression. We actively challenge carceral systems, highlighting how prisons disproportionately impact marginalized communities and are not the answer to societal challenges. Join us in building a future rooted in community care, not incarceration.

Our core initiatives

Red Rose Trans Movement drives change through various initiatives, each designed to uplift, educate, and advocate. We focus on creating meaningful impact within the LGBTQ+ community and advancing the cause of abolition.

Highlighting lgbtq+ leaders

We celebrate and amplify the voices of trans and gender non-conforming leaders, ensuring their stories and contributions shape our collective future.

Advocating for decarceration

Our work emphasizes that prisons are not the solution, especially given the alarming incarceration rates of people of color. We push for alternatives that build stronger, safer communities.

Community building & support

We foster supportive networks and provide human resources for the trans community, ensuring access to resources and spaces for growth and mutual aid.

Policy advocacy & education

Through education and advocacy, we work to inform the public and influence policies that promote trans rights, racial justice, and systemic change.

About red rose trans movement

Our commitment stems from recognizing the urgent need to dismantle systems that harm, particularly the disproportionate incarceration of people of color. We believe in building a future where everyone can thrive.
